Cookie policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
This page explains which cookies and similar technologies Papely uses, for what purpose, and how you can manage them. For more information about how we process your personal data, see our Privacy policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device to recognize you on later visits or to work properly.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are essential for the platform to work: session management, authentication, fraud prevention (CSRF) and language selection. They do not require consent.
Preferences
These remember your choices such as language, theme or the last view used in the editor to improve your experience.
Analytics
These help us understand how the service is used in aggregate so we can debug problems and prioritize improvements. They are only enabled with your consent.
Third party
Some providers may set their own cookies:
- Google — Google sign-in and One Tap.
- Sentry — client-side error capture for diagnostics.
- Polar — checkout flow and billing portal.
3. Managing your preferences
You can accept or reject optional cookies from the consent banner shown on your first visit, or change your choice at any time from your account settings. You can also delete stored cookies from your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the service from working.
4. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect new technologies or legal changes. The date of the latest update appears at the top of this page.
